@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos push for a “search location” on map -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos oh man I like so much the 3 features in there!!! If I can bring coffee to or clean the car of the developers so that they have more time to make this happen sooner, just let me know
SA would be a fantastic app for me with these 3 features!!
-
this features are awesome. hope the will come and hope they will come for ambit3 family too.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Thanks Dimitrios! …done…
But I personally liked the features in the last survey better …when will they come?
the “personal heatmap” is interesting but should be possible to show all tracks at once, or only all e.g. cycling activities at once, I mean complete track so you can see at once where you have been, not only what location you have started. (full tracks, not only points)I did not yet use a lot of POI but will for sure try that. In general I think it’s very useful for areas where you go for the first time and of course when the weather turns bad.
It’s very nice to see the progress in SA and that Suunto is working on that while listening to customers.
Please also get Ambit 3 setup integrated, sometime soonish

Done ! Thanks !

@TELE-HO the when I dont know for sure, unfortunately. There are too many factors that can change that. For example I had promised the 24/7 HR data on the IOS app 1.9.2
- Apple denied the update and forced us to implement things no user ever requested (followers block, spam detection etc).
- 24/7 data team found a bug that would degrade the experience and we ve hidden those charts.
In short about 1.5months later we delivered a version that did not have 24/7 HR charts
What I can say though is once you get those surveys those features are planned most probably to come. When for each platfrom ? That even if I could answer it can change.
What I ll be doing is perhaps what I did with the 24/7 hr. Try to say that it’s implemented once I get it in the internal versions and let it be.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos “Apple denied the update and forced us to implement things no user ever requested”
Maybe with a web frontend such could have been prevented (sorry, could not resist)
-
done!
about heartmaps I have an idea: while navigating in the app the user has the possibility to search for a random route: “I want to run in this zone for 10 km a 500+” The app will search for routes and offer to the user
would be great!

@johann-fuehrer
I’m not an expert with programming at all, but I’ve heard that there’s a technology that you can setup a web page and it works for all… desktop, mobile browser etc… and then there is something that just looks like an app but in fact is a simple browser with only functions to operate the web page… maybe Dimitrios can name this kind of technology?
…but anyway I think Suunto is already quite far gone with the development of the new SA and they have decided to go a certain way and it is “too late” to turn around. I’m happy with what I have seen so far and what the future might bring -
@jorgefd78
that sounds like komoot… I would be inn for this for cycling during vacation abroad -
Survey done!!
-
@johann-fuehrer well its not like that. Apple has no clue about what services we use its all about the app we use and submit to them
-
Done. Always nice be part of there stuff. Hope will helps and that POI (with editable name, visible on watch) will have priority
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I can dig it! Never thought POI’s would excite me so much. I am digging the direction SA is going. Now if we could just take all that and wrap it in “Dark Mode” and I’m good!
-
@TELE-HO I’ll take a look! Thx
-
@jorgefd78
just as an example… i would rather have something similar integrated in SA -
Done! I haven’t used POIs that much, since SA didn’t showed them well. Just a question, during exercise and navigation is it possible to see nearby POIs on the main navigation window?
-
@jorgefd78
…because I don’t want to end up with 10 different 3rd party solutions -
Komoot is great Gaia also
-
Done. Let’s give feedback people!
