@jouko-from-suunto
I don’t speak very well english but i use every day many Suunto watch. I’m not expresive in this forum but i would be very interested to become a Suunto beta tester. I am already for other products…
-
@suzzlo I completely agree with you. I was very engaged at the beginning but I see so little progress and a lack of information that I feel Im losing my interest. I completely share all your feedback, couldnt express it better.
@Suunto guys: Im sure you are doing your best, but these are the facts :S

The bug issue is still there as the users are complaining about that and I have also faced the same issue. The bug issue has to be fixed and it has also affected my outlook account as well and I am having outlook 0x8004010f
-
@josephkarl what do you mean ?
-
It means that due to the bug the android device has started lagging and the device becomes slow and many apps are getting affected with that and affecting the outlook app was one of them.
-
@josephkarl you are the first with this feedback. How do you know that the suunto app causes this?
-
I have just uninstalled the sunnto app as I have the issue with that. It could be possible that many users are not having any issue but it happened with me as well.
-
@josephkarl technically its a bit strange one app to affect another. They have no relation and the android system forbids that .
-
I have rooted my device and tried many apps which is not supported on the Android which is forbidden to check that is this possible to run the various apps.
-
@josephkarl hmmm what do you mean ?

The phone might get slower due to one single app if this one is using huge amounts of CPU, but it’s impossible that other apps are directly affected in terms of they stop working or have crashes because of Suunto. Each app running on an Android phone acts as a single user in a multi-user Linux system. This means that the apps live in their own sandbox regarding security, performance, etc.
There is one pop-up when you install the SA asking you to allow the app to run in the background in order to provide a better service. If you don’t allow this (can also change it in the settings), the performance/battery of the phone will definitely not be affected although you might miss a couple of notifications.
