Is there anyy Official info how to move all data from Movescount to Suunto App?

@Michal-Pyzara " …there any Official info how to move all data from Movescount to Suunto App"
no, Suunto decided it’s more important to start fresh from the scratch with these ‘Digital Transition’, using old sportstracker data buried as a base and spend efforts first for an automatic sync to TrainingPeaks and Strava instead having an backwards compatibility to their own movescount platform as priority …
who did this lunatic decision at Suunto -> …. ?
Is he/she insane -> probably!
should he/she get fired and sued for company damages -> yes -

and here we are … again
right, you continue in soft washing it … might work well

Well, I’m no Suunto employee, nor taliban (as I said several time) nor a rich kid . I bought this watch as most of the people here, not a gift, and I payed it with real money.
I’m just trying to answer people questions, just to help, just to try having a better Suunto App, because I can not stand people who only complains but want the baby food ready.
Maybe because I’m also on the “other side” several times and maybe because I joined the forum when it was “beta focused only” (oh, the good ol’days). Now, in the modern age, there’s no way to avoid the same off-topic complaint in every single thread, more than once.
Ok, we’ve got your point.
You (and many others) are more than sure that no one at Suunto is listening, so why keep going ? Just stop it, please. Stop bothering us USERS.
Mail-bomb Suunto support, Suunto management, Suunto whoever, but please stop it here. -
@sartoric said in Is there anyy Official info how to move all data from Movescount to Suunto App?:
as said you continue your opinion whatever suunto pleasing you prefer and I express my opinion likewise, I’m not here based on your gratitude or goodwill so don’t patronize others with your personal opinion
-
Maybe an additional forum section for such discussions would be nice to keep off-topic separated…?
Threads should stay focused on one topic/problem/bug/suggestion etc.
Mixing in subjective/personal opinions and unrelated discussions does not help anyone -
Hi the data transition starts may. You will be able to connect MC to SA and get your data in the SA logbook so no need to panic. If you already have some moves only on SA and some moves only on MC those will be merged.

And SA to Movescount? Will there be connection?
-
@auxina No why would there be one ? Movescount is the old service.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos and for those who have moves in both (since SA appeared), but with also older moves only in movescount, will there be a process to filter doubles ?

I second what @sartoric said. Many of us are longtime Suunto users and when a call for moderators was made I answered. I use and will continue to use Suunto hardware. Many users are here to help and to inquire and suggest about functionality. Many of us have our own frustrations but most of us want the transition Suunto is making to work with the functionality will best serve the users. We are fortunate to have a representative @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos here. You are welcome to your opinion but as a moderator I am not willing to tolerate personal attacks and opinions that have no factual basis. Your negative comments are present in many threads. If you can be constructive I and others would appreciate it. If not, I will be forced to do my job as a moderator. I am sorry to be so harsh but many of your opinions are largely tangential to the threads as are those you espouse here.

Effectively.
But there is still no full web service. -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Basically because that way you would be able to use MC web even if you disable MC sync / moveslink sync.
I have refrained from using SA sports customisation feature and routes management just not to loose MC synchronisation…
-
there will be deduplication

Me too

I am happy with SA, but I would like to have several important functions:
web application (to analyze training and plan routes with PID)
Training plans
Display manual turns and intervals
I also use Strava, Runalyze, and others, but my SSU deserves its own category platform.
However, congratulations for the work done.
Thank you! -

This is how it works once (and if) you’ve used SA to customize routes or sport modes.
Thanks for clarifying. I thought about testing SA for the sake of having endomondo auto-sync (I believe it is there as opposed to MC), but for now I’ll stick to the old platform as I actively use the web service for route creation.
Well, I’m curious how this story develops. I don’t want to complain until we have a fully functional SA solution in place. Still, I’d rather see Suunto putting effort in adding functionality rather than focusing on either platform. I usually find Strava just enough to analyse all my workouts, but I seriously lack custom intervals for running or a virtual/ghost race option - something which was present in the Ambit series (via an app, if I remember correctly) and was discontinued in the Spartan world.
I somehow don’t understand why new products are stripped of functionality (same goes for Polar’s new watch) instead of being enriched. As much as I love my SSU, I sometimes wish I’d chosen Garmin Fenix. I wonder what they complain about on Garmin-related forums

@auxina Thanks Auxina!
Laps , are the next step to come to you guys. And not just a simple feature. We have overhauled it!
That said web interface is the most requested feature and the most hard feature.
The problem above is what expectation should a web meet? Training Peaks? Strava?
As you understand those web interfaces are already years old, and support a whole company. Suunto will have to try hard to compete those no?
Its a bit not - so -easy todo so.

Fused alti, GPS tracks and crashes or data issues on the watch. From my monitoring there but yes you are right they have a more seamless solution.

You should read them, there are some very unhappy folks. The issues for the Fenix are different than what you find over here. There are many on GPS accuracy, a lot of battery life issues and quite a few comments on the lack of support for some sports. The grass may appear to seem greener until you examine the root structures:)

We know it will not be easy …
I have an original idea:
Do we use Movescount as a web app…
