What is worth or not is up to the operator.
Taking care of man kind and earth is not worth in a buisness percpective but it’s totally worth in a altruistic percperctive

For Android, there is an alternative for old watches, with openambit projet.
Application is ambit connect.
But you need à smartphone
With only à computer, assuming that Moveslink or suuntolink will still export moves into local storage (sml or json or…) there is already some soft that can import them (ex sporttracks) , so I guess there won’t be watches without export solutions.
Best will be Suunto to provide tools just to export files in common format, or give protocoles for developpers to do it -

I live in an area where phone coverage is so poor it would be pointless me having a smartphone. I want to be able to sync my watch via a PC. I just bought the thing and already it seems it’s obsolete! Poor…
