      fullsizeoutput_344d.jpeg fullsizeoutput_344c.jpeg Hello,

      I have a issue with the elevation measurements registered in MC and the the Suunto app. When I do a run: the elevation should be just fine by the fused altitude option (by default it’s on in sports mode?), but it isn’t. In the example it’s a really flat area. Elevation about +2,0 m. The watch seems to register the wrong elevation and it’s searching to the correct value. But it never comes near the good elevation…! In the summary gives wrong values also/. Total descent: 3 m, highest point + 1,0 m, lowest point -17 m (descent should be 18 m). It doesn’t make sense.

      Does anybody has the same experience? Maybe I make a mistake?

      Jaco van den Bosch

        @jacovdbosch no mistakes there.

        First the ascent / descent is calculated with a ±3m filter. That means that if you don’t climb for example 3m in 12minutes you dont get ascent.

        The FusedAlti should have not produced this, that looks more like is affected by pressure change.

          @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos thank you for the explanation of the 3 meter filter. But fused Alto should correct the barometric airpresure difference? Or am i wrong?
