      Hello Suunto Team,

The Suunto Vertical 2 is missing a huge feature/functionality that all your competitors have for ages.

Full GPS timesync! when you change timezones, the watch does not update the timezone accordingly even when it is performing a GPS Activity.

yet, you market the watch as follows:

"For adventurers who demand the best when testing their limits — far from the trailhead and cell service. "

My Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire does that since day 1 ! this is annoying as I don;t rely on my phone for those functionalities and when I am in areas w/o cell service,

for me this is big enough to consider returning back to Garmin!

@nmiguelrf Yes, thats a pity - if I remember correctly the Ambit3 Series also had this functionality.

@nmiguelrf I don’t remember well whats was the reason but this was in the watches (Spartan for sure and even early firmwares for the S9B, but I do not remember well) and had some downsizes too, so they switch to determine the zones using the phone. I think that if you search in the forum you can find some threads about this.
So, you have to sync your phone to get the correct zone in your watch.

BTW, for me it is ok how it works now.
