Disable Morning Report?
-
I can’t seem to find a way to turnoff the morning report. Where is that in the settings and if you can or cannot, how do you view the morning report after you have dismissed it?

The A.I. generated answer on the internet is this, can you give it a try?
On the Watch:
Press the upper right button to open the main menu.
Scroll down to Settings → General → Notifications or Activity Tracker (depending on your model).
Look for Morning Report or Daily Summary.
Toggle it off.Using Suunto App:
Open the Suunto app on your phone.
Go to Settings → Watch Settings → Notifications / Activity Tracking.
Find Morning Report or Daily Summary and disable it.
Sync your watch with the app to apply changes.Hope that helps

@jmolenaar2 that’s more likely to match Garmin, not Suunto. There is no Settings->Watch Settings in the App and pressing the upper right button opens the last used activity tracking…

there is no “upper right button to menu” to begin with.
I guess, that all users are able to ask an AI of their choice.
Just the quality of answers is not there yet (which you can also see when reading Suunto’s own chatbots in FB groups).I suggest to not just copy & paste AI content here which has not been verified.
Thank you!

the morning report cannot be brought up again after it has been dismissed.
I don’t think there is a way to turn it off separately (you can only turn off sleep tracking in total). -
I would also like to disable the useless morning report. There is literally no information on it that I need to know first thing in the morning but I do have to dismiss it every day before my watch becomes usable.
But I found a hack. If I disable sleep tracking then I do not get a morning report.
Pro: you also have a slightly better battery life.
Con: for reasons beyond my comprehension, disabling sleep tracking also disables hrv. With sleep tracking disabled you do not miss anything. It’s not very accurate. Better is to ask yourself in the morning, do I feel refreshed or still tired. If tired, do something about it!
Loosing hrv might be slightly more disappointing. Hrv might actually tell you something useful (although science isn’t that sure, they only studied effect on ill people, not on healthy ones) and hrv measuring on a wristwatch might be not that accurate (at least, on garmins they investigated it was not and I don’t see why other brands would be so much better)
