To issue 2: Yes, the autolaps problem is still around. Runna’s pace analysis claims that target paces were consistently missed when recording the sessions with Suunto’s autolap on.
Autolaps still need to be turned off in the watch to get the laps / pace analysis from Runna done correctly.

@zhangschmidt but this is then a problem on Runna’s side. They have to interpret the manual (and Guide created) and auto laps individually…

@zhangschmidt I have a custom running sport that I use always when following runna’s guidance. With autolap off it works good, I havent had any problem.

Suunto watches: Vertical 2 (Titanium Sage), Race 2 (Titanium Trail), Ocean (Sand), Race (Titanium Charcoal), Vertical (Titanium Solar Sand), 9 Baro (Ambassador Edition), Spartan Ultra (Copper Edition), Ambit 2, S6

With autolap off it all works well, custom or not.

I wonder if they know that something has changed and they could make it work now. (I wonder how those Suunto interactions work, for everything. Best/worst case I can think of: ActiveLook. You get glasses from one producer, powered by ActiveLook, usable with a Suunto Plus App… and who really programs any of that and could improve it?)

@zhangschmidt I know, I was just telling that if you want autolap on the base sports not to switch it on/off to create custom for training sessions with runna and turn it off. I don’t see much point in having auto lap and also runna suggested laps (intervals or whatever). At the end you can get the per km laps in the app

Oh, now I understand what you mean! True, that’s a good approach!

                    Does anyone experience the same?

If I do Intervalls with Runna (eg 5x1600m) it shows me the next interval and the pace. But it doesn’t show 1/5 on my structured workout screens. If I use the same workout on my garmin it shows the number of intervals, too.
If I use an intervals.icu or an suunto build structured workout it also shows me the number of intervals. It would be really helpful to see this (especially for more complex workouts) since I don’t remember my entire workout while doing all out intervals 🤣
Is there also a way to see the upcoming step? When I’m in rest screen I would love to see what’s coming next to mentally prepare for this.

Since I’m relatively new to suunto I would really appreciate to hear your thoughts and tips.

@bobbyfw03 The Runna Suunto Guides don’t show what step in the plan you’re in, i.e., it’s not you, it’s them.

In “it’s not a bug, it’s a feature”-fashion, I personally have been taking that as motivation to run every interval as if it were the I-don’t-know-which-anymore.

'twas very, uhm, “interesting” when I was sure I had just done the last 4:00 min/km kilometer, then had yet another come up, hahaha

@zhangschmidt Thanks for your answer I giving me some sort of mindset hacks 😅 it’s not that it is a dealbreaker for me I was only wondering if it’s an Runna or an suunto problem because my old garmin shows the number of intervals in the structured workout screens for Runna as fine as for intervals.icu in every session. Since it was also great on suunto for my first intervals.icu plan and I joined Runna a few days ago for my marathon prep, I was confused that it doesn’t work the same for Runna (like my old garmin)…
