Improved OHR on Race 1 really?
-
corrected OHR on Race 1? I walked twice today. In the morning to work in the afternoon back home. I tested the improved OHR and I can say that it is a disaster… I attach photos. I have never had such fluctuations in heart rate while walking. Yes, it happened that it flew up here and there for about 2-5 minutes to a heart rate of 170 and then it dropped back down nicely, but after this update it is a complete tragedy. Does anyone have a similar experience?
Edit : i can not upload my photo.is too large -

has it been different before?
Does the watch sit tight on your arm?
Was it cold outside? So many thing that influence OHR. Even if the sensor and algorithms have been improved, it does not mean that it is 100% like a chest belt under all conditions.

@Egika It’s true that it’s brutally cold here at the moment. The temperature feels like -13 degrees. In the afternoon, it’s only -1, but I always wear my watch tightly when I’m active. I only wear it looser at night. The watch was under a thick winter jacket the whole time. Before that, my heart rate jumped to 150-170, but after a few minutes it dropped. It’s strange. It was just a regular walk that I don’t really care about, but it surprised me quite a bit. I use the Coros HRM for running and I have the heart rate from the watch turned off.
