Hi, Can I set a 5k goal and have the distance count down as I run without using Suunto Plus Custom Sport?

@Bigb0zz yes, go to Excercise options -> Target -> Distance and set 5km. You’ll see a progress bar during your excercise and also a notification of progress (50 and 100%).

@OutdoorMan Thanks, but I prefer seeing the actual remaining distance rather than a progress bar. It looks like this specific function is restricted to the “Run” model.

I’ve never tried this but there’s a small chance if you set a target distance it might also populate the ‘remaining distance to end of route’ field.

@far-blue Thanks, but the ‘Remaining distance to end of route’ function is only available when a GPX map is loaded prior to starting your workout.

@Bigb0zz I am not aware of any other way to display the distance, sorry.

@Bigb0zz Just turn around when you get a 50% alert. Why is seeing the distance to go helpful?

@Steven-Hambleton It helps with the psychological side of pacing.
