I got my new Vertical2 today. I wanted to download some watch faces from the watch. Unfortunately, the app isn’t showing any preview images anymore, so I can’t see which ones I want. What’s going on now?

@Stavrogin yes today delivered from Vantaa. Mean the store. There are all watchfaces only white.

@Sportsfreund Yeah! I think this is known by Suunto. I have the problem as well. There was a problem with the 9 Peak Pro. It just erased all the watch faces. Suunto fixed that in a few days, but since then the watchfaces are not shown in the app. On the watch I don’t have problems

@pavel.samokha Hi, I’m experiencing something with the V2 that I didn’t experience with the V1: after starting a run between not too tall buildings (4 floors), the route recording is almost always lost and inaccurate, the way back is always fine. The V1 has basically never made a mistake at the same place. Has anyone had a similar experience? The GPS fixation before the start is the same, i.e. several tens of seconds.GPS.jpg

@Martin-Vrska It’s worth waiting a few minutes before starting your activity. The AGSM data may be out of date. A green GPS indicator doesn’t always indicate a perfect signal. As you can see, during the run, the signal stabilized and the results were accurate.

                  Hello everyone,

I just learned that on the Suunto Vertical 2, manual SpO₂ measurement via the widget is no longer available. The feature has been restricted by software, reportedly for battery life reasons, and now SpO₂ measurements are only taken automatically during sleep.

This information has been confirmed by four different Suunto specialists. I find this very disappointing, especially for a flagship device that is meant to support outdoor and high-altitude activities, where real-time SpO₂ monitoring is often crucial.

I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this restriction. How do you feel about a flagship watch limiting such a core health and performance feature?

While I disagree that this is a core health and performance feature, for me it is still there to be enabled from the widget.
Can you show a picture of how your widget looks like?

@Sportsfreund Ah, I remember that one. Had forgotten. Watch faces could be installed but from the app you could not tell what they looked like.

After the replacement of my V2 by support, I finally have a true flagship that has nothing to envy to more prestigious models and brands that, in the same segment, cost twice as much.

The Suunto Vertical 2 with AMOLED display has significantly better battery life than the Fenix 51mm, with sport and health metrics that are fully comparable.

For the past month I have been wearing the Fenix 51mm AMOLED, Suunto Vertical 2, and Whoop 5 at the same time, and sleep data from Suunto and Garmin are often overlapping. When Garmin’s sleep data are completely different from Whoop’s, Whoop matches the Vertical’s data.

Maps deserve a special mention. On the Suunto V2 they are fast, smooth, lag-free, and very easy to read.

It is truly a very solid and reliable tool.

If your sensors are not working or the watch freezes, send it to support and get it replaced. You were probably just unlucky.

Now I’m just waiting for Suunto developers to export health data to TrainingPeaks, and I’ll leave Garmin for good!
