Sorry if this have been asked before, but I just need to double check.
Does the V2 support vo2max via cycling or is it only running?

@Josef-Nilsson I get Vo2 max estimate and don’t run. I guess it is from the bike.

I am not sure how accurate it is.

@Audaxjoe Do you know how it works? Like running using GPS, Barometer and HR? Or do you use a Powermeter?

@VoiGAS I do not have a power meter so my guess is Heart Rate.

I have no idea if it is accurate. I have only had the V2 a few weeks, so this may skew the results but the results are quite a bit lower than the V1. But I also haven’t done any long rides.

@Audaxjoe there is no way to estimate Vo2max without correlating effort (HR) with performance (pace/speed or power). So if you do not use a power meter it can only do it on the bike by speed but that is highly inaccurate. Therefore, I really doubt that the vertical 2 does that and I also haven’t heard about Vo2max for cycling. Would be also really strange as Vo2max for running and cycling should be separated as it is not comparable. Probably your Vo2max comes from some hiking or walking activity that you have done some time
