Storing phones last known location
-
During a recent trail run, a friend of mine using a Garmin watch lost his Iphone and didn’t notice until he was 3.8 km further down the trail. Thanks to Garmin’s ability to store the phone’s last known location, he was able to find it quickly using his watch.
I believe it would be a valuable enhancement if Suunto watches could offer the same capability. Storing the phone’s last known location in the watch would mean that even if the phone moves out of Bluetooth range, the watch could still display the distance, direction, or GPS point where it was last connected.
For those of us who run or train in remote areas, this feature could make a real difference — not just for convenience, but for peace of mind. -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos This could be something useful.
