      I’ll try this again, but it didn’t seem to alert me when I tried before (using a heart rate zone target) with my S9PP.

        @Jan-Petri-Ylisuutari still no « heart rate notification « .

        No bip no vibrating.

        Not on alarm to set on heart rate not on speed or power.

        That’s incredible all of that was on Gramin since a lot it’s just an software update to add.

        Also no apps create working that vibrating when change heart zone???

        ANY NEWS?

          Would be great also for structured trainings. Like now you have to look at the watch every few seconds…

            @Jonte You can set an intensity zone and you will get HR/Power/Pace notifications going in or out of the zone. So these are available.

              @Brad_Olwin As far as I understand this only works for one heart rate zone which you set manually and not for all configured zones in the structured training for the sections like warm up, run, cool down.

                @RainerB Correct but for a structured workout you can easily see what zone you are in on the Guide screen at least for TrainingPeaks

                  This is still not the right solution.

                  As runners, we need alerts when we exceed our heart rate or pace zone.

                  This is especially useful when doing long intervals: at the beginning, you need to “hit” the pace e.g 3:50/km and keep your running stride, and then you need to slow down by 10 seconds/km to keep your heart rate, which will increase or stabilize depending on how you feel on a given training day.

                  Looking at your watch every 50 meters is pointless! Just give us alerts! 😄

                  This feature should have been a native feature of a RUNNING WATCH a long time ago.

                    @Adrian.S you make it sound, like all runners need it. I consider myself a runner but I don’t. Even during intervals, I prefer to run on RPE and my heart rate might be different in a different day for the same interval and pace may vary depending an how I feel.
                    Again, I am fine if suunto introduces feature like that, but please make it that I could disable it.

                      @aiv4r Of course - the virations, bips, alerts should be set to enable ot disable, without a doubt.

                        @aiv4r It should be an option and be disabled by default, so no one would be bothered and anyone would be happy.
