      Question to other users of Suunto Race watch: does the wheather alert feature works in your case?
      From what it is specified if the barometric pressure is getting low in less than 2 hours you get a whether alert.
      I never get any alert and looking over the barometric pressure trend i did had several times the atmospheric pressure going low in less than 2 hours. And yes it is enabled. Also the fusy altimeter is on.
      Can somedy confirm the functionality of this feature?

        @deliu-b yes mine works, but not frequently. I’m not sure what the trigger drop in air pressure is but when it dies go off it is normally a storm rather than a bit of rain.

          @Audaxjoe a drop of 4 hPa in 3 hours is necessary to trigger a storm alarm

            @surfboomerang I had this situation and no feedback from the watch. Yes, the alarm for wheaher alert is on. I will monitor this and take this value as: if higher than 4hPa in 2-3 hous i should expect an alarm.

              Maybe the error of the pressure sensor with the desired threshold is not a match for trigger the alarm from watch to watck. Maybe…

                I got a storm alert last week, it vibrated softly a couple of times. Wished i had Tones on so i could hear how it sounds like haha

                    I wanted to add some photos regarding the watch today data, but I am lost in technology, or maybe this is not working for the forum.
                    Anyway the atmospheric pressure reported by weather forecast is 1009.1mb the whatch is showing 1015. Ok I can accept some tolerance, maybe the whether station is no so close, regardless that I am staying in to a big city. Anyway from the chart trend I might estimate a drop of 5 mb in the last 3 hours and no alarm.
                    If it was only vibration then for shure I missed, due to messages that I am receiving constanly.
                    On my Traverse watch this feature worked very well and was very helpful, for me at least, with vibration feedback and sound.
                    I will still monitor this, maybe the drop was not in 3 hours, perhaps longer time.
