Can't connect Amazefit Balance HR sensor

Hi!

I have an Amazefit Balance watch which does broadcast the HR during a workout or when I activate the HR App on the watch.
I am using an Android Phone (Xiaomi 12 Pro / HyperOS 2.0.5.0) and the Sports Tracker App (Version 5.1.7).

Strava and Bergfex can connect to the watch via Bluetooth and show the heart rate. I guess this is then using Bluetooth LE (BLE) and the generic heart rate protocol defined in that standard.

But the Sport Tracker App can’t connect.
The help tells me that it should work with all BT Smart compatible devices. BT Smart is the old name of BLE, so it should work in my opinion.

I am using Sport Tracker since years and it would be nice to get also the heart rate into the App to get better calories calculation, now that I have a watch.
Using Strava or Bergfex is no real option, because those Apps are not as good as Sport Tracker.
