Always on display function during workouts
-
Hey,
Question/sugestion on always on display. Currently when setting up in workout menu it actually does not allow to set display to “always on”. You have to raise hand to fully wake watch.
This is specifically frustrating when using my watch during cycling workouts set on a handlebar with map. When no movement map gets dark and useles.
May I suggest to allow actual always on option as it was I previous models like e.g. suunto 5.
Think it will be very useful in cycling mode

@Kamilmmm Thank you, I thought I am the only one

@VoiGAS moderators might lock this thread but it’s has been mentioned before tons of times, SR or SRs being AMOLED screen cannot be “true” AOD without dimming a bit brightness, main reason is to keep screen safe from the so call burn effect. This is not new at all, there’s a countless S7 out there with this issue, so if cycling outdoors is your primary sport, you might be using the wrong Suunto watch.

@herlas Thats a clear message - thank you! Others were more like its a thing of the past (old firmware) or the AOD would be bright enough.
Thats why I thought I am doing something wrong and kept trying. So for me its now clear.
