Lunch nap
-
Hello Suunto users,
At the weekends I train early in the morning, sometimes I start before 5:00. During lunch I often take a nap for an hour with the kids to become enough sleep. How would you track sleeping with the s9pp? Extend the sleep time in the sleep settings from say 22:00 until 14:00 or would it be better to set my normal sleep time (22:00-7:00) and adopt it when I take a nap (change settings then from 12:00-14:00)?

There is no nap tracking in 9PP. However, if you set your lowest HR accurately, resources should replenish during the nap as your HR will drop and you’ll be mostly motionless. This won’t get recorded as a sleep however.
I’d recommend setting sleep time for regular sleep.

@marcrie your second idea should work for sure in my opinion, but it is more work as it requires adapting the sleep times twice a day. Maybe try the first approach and go with that, if it turns out successful …

Naps will be recorded as sleep by setting the sleep time to 00.00 - 23.59 h. But the nightly hrv will be truncated because of the hrv measured during the naps.
