      Hi,
I’ve been having some issues with step counter. Whenever I turn the watch off at night and turn it back on the next morning, the step count will display that I’ve done 10k + steps. I have no issue with the step count being not so accurate but to start the day with already 10k or today 32k when getting out of bed deems the watch completely useless.
This issue also happens when I charge the watch. After it’s fully charged, I will have done about 30k steps🤓
Is this normal? I have read somewhere that we can’t expect the watch to be an accurate step counter but the numbers I’ve seen are so ridiculously high.

      Thanks in advance.

@art-taw Try a soft reset and see what happens.

anyway, the step count takes into account when you turn your wrist to look at the screen. Si if you look at the hour of the day many times a day, the counter will automatically increase. Weird no ?

@art-taw True. I noticed the same thing a few months ago—after turning the watch on, there are usually many thousands of steps on the counter
