S9PP Dead while charging
-
Customer support suggested putting it on the charger and doing a 15-second press of the upper button while it is connected to the charger. That didn’t work either, but maybe it will for someone else.
I am sending the watch off to Finland. I live on the west coast of the United States so that will take a while. -
Same way as my S9PP died. Reseller couldn’t/wouldn’t repair and got a refund.

@ArthurMartineau
you can try to leave it on the charger for 1-2 days and it might come back. if the other option is shipping back, I would try this before. -
@freeheeler I just had another incident like this one. Watch turned off after fully charging and I had to do a soft reset to turn it on.
On the latest firmware. 9pp

@Umer-Javed
sorry to hear.
I don’t know details, but I’m sure it’s being worked on -
@Umer-Javed @freeheeler It happened the same to me yesterday. S9PP latest software. Looked like dead, but soft reset made it alive again. I got really scared until I remembered the upper button rule.

Issue is known and will be fixed in the next release.

@pavel-samokha I‘m really happy that I‘m not affected by these issues after the latest update, but I think these issues (watch dead after charging, not able to sync trainings,…) are really worse and should be addressed by a hotfix, and not by the next (regular) update release!
-
@SuperFlo75 I agree
-
@SuperFlo75 hotfix released per your request

Now we need to figure out what of these words made its way into the hearts of Suunto’s developers for the next fix !!!
