I have titanium today and it just feels a bit better and smoother.
Weight difference is very small so …
Strange to describe feelings.

Weight difference is very small so …i had both SV Ti and Steel at the same time while purchasing, and weight diff was huge in term of sensation. I kept the steel one thinking i doesn’t worth the extra buck just for this, but i am thinking each time that i may have made a mistake.
10g is not huge, but out of 60g, it is really noticeable.

@Mff73
I can not argue about that, difference is difference.

A little OT…do you know if it is possible to import data from polar flow into SA as well? It could be amazing… -
@misu763 if you’re on iOS you can do this with ‘RunGap’ which also works great for importing workouts from the past. On Android you can sync from Polar flow to Suunto with Healthsync but I don’t know if its possible for workouts in the past.

@ChrisA
Thank you for you reply! Importing the past activities is exactly what I would like to do! I will try it! Thank you again! -
If you consider a Race or a Vertical, I would go into a shop and try them on the wrist. For some people the lunges dig in to the wrist bone, which can be painful (even bloody). It really depends on the wrist bone. At the same time, those watches don’t feel as big and heavy on the wrist, as the dimensions would suggest. The Race might be a little more comfortable.

@wmichi
We are going to the mall tomorrow and I’am testing both Race and Vertical on the wrist.
In the front right now are the Vertical but it depends on the size.

@Thomas-Bolstad this is the vertical on my 18.5 cm circumference wrist (don’t know what the average circumference for men is but I found it comfortable)
-
@Thomas-Bolstad I had the S9B and before that the Garmin Fenix 5, both are in paper the same size as the Vertical. But for some reason the Vertical does feel smaller!
Enjoy your shopping, I am very happy with the Vertical, an excellent watch and the battery is bonkers. -
@Thomas-Bolstad Good luck shopping!
I wish I had a local store that carried the popular models. It will be worth to actually try it on and decide which one to get.
For me, I needed one to that is reliable in the mountains (hiking, mountaineering) and for running (10k, half and full marathons). I narrowed down to Vertical and 9PP. Finally, it came down to price… $350 for 9PP vs $630 for Vertical. I went with 9PP and have been very happy the last 3 weeks. The battery on my 9PP has been lasting about 10 days.

Update.
Due to share size neither Vertical or Race will be mine.
I simply have to small wrist.
I tested SPP and it fits just
Since they did not have the titanium in the shop I have to wait two weeks before they have it in store again.
One of them have the name Thomas on it.️
I may miss all the map functions in the two others but it must be comfortable.
Thank you all for input and help.
