S9PP to Vertical

I know we are all different but I find the Vertical an ideal size as an everyday watch.

Yes, but sleep tracking is much more comfortable for me with a S9PP …

Damn now I look on this photo Vertical seems really oversized here on my hand! But in real life/mirror its looks better than S9PP. I asked my brother which i live with, and he told me Vertical looks better. I also feel much better with Vertical. It sits better on my hand, its more comfortable, less moving on my hand and i use it 24/7 only taking it off for a shower. I sleep good with it, it doesnt bother me.

Really great discussion to read here!

Not for me - it makes my ‘buy it now’ finger very twitchy!

I think for me one of the big factors between the SV & SR would be whether you want Amoled or not?

Honstly I would say as my final words: What’s Your country policy? Can You order and return it after XX days? Wear It safety in home, check if it suits good on Your wrist. If Yes - order Vertical. Longer support, better than Suunto 9 Peak Pro (I had both). Much better on my hand, much better readable, much better battery, and great maps! I dont regret Vertical (I got refurb with discount on solar, probably becouse of one-day error discount (solar refurb in price of non-solar new) and i dont regret. Watch runs fine (could work more smooth a bit) but rest is great.

I think i will have to keep both , s9pp because i love the size and clean design , i love it as my edc / elegant watch and vertical for outdoor activities.
-
@krakra Go for it. I wish i could own both.
Just bought a 9PP and so far, loving it.

@krakra I’m exactly in the same situation. I bought 9pp without checking dimensions (my fault), gave it a chance but after 9 months of usage - it’s small, can’t read the display. My daughter started to do workouts, so I’m gonna give her it. I’m just deciding between Race & Vertical. I’m not sure with maps in my country (Slovakia), are they good or just generic etc. I use outdoor gps (Garmin) or android phone mostly with Locus and customized off-line maps (bigger screen, functions etc. compared to watch), battery is ok on Race (no maps). But. There is a big BUT with all those issues documented (and ignored) here
So my biggest concern is - if I will buy, is the going to be any support, fixes etc.? I don’t know Garmin politics in this area, so I don’t want to swim in unknown waters to get in the same mud as here. So result - I do not need maps, I do need relatively long battery lifetime (cycling for whole day, days), I require features to be working. -
When It was released I immediatly felt in love with the S9p design (and so with S9pp after)…for my wife !
Perfeclty fit’s her small wrist, very light.
But for me, screen is definitively too small.
But coming from S9B, my SV is so much light and less bulkier ! Perfect size !
