Suunto link fails to connect 9 peak with Windows 10 Computer

Dear Community,
the Suunto Link app on my Windows Surface 9 with Windows 10 home does not recognise the watch Suunto 9 Peak, even the charging via Computer-USB connection works.Adhering to all the hints, given by Suunto Link, and contacting the Suunto web service, did not solve the problem.
Is there anybody who has similar experience and above all can help? Best regards and thank you, Lutz
