Problem with categorization of runs
-
Hello,
I have a problem with my runs. They seem to be categorized wrongly. Today I did an easy run with my father, mostly HR zone 1 and a tiny bit of zone 2 and it was classified as Aerobic/anaerobic. I think I read somewhere that another Suunto user had a similar problem. I would like to know based on which data the runs are classified. Because I recently got back to running after a 3 weeks break and Stryd tells me my CP has dropped quite a bit. I have put the Stryd zones in the power zones of the watch and I am often in zone 3 for power. Could it have an impact on the way the runs are classified?
I also have a suggestion. As sometimes the runs are categorized wrongly, it would be great to have the ability to change them manually when modifying the activity.

@geolerigolo you are right, activities are categorized using all the relevant zones and duration, so in your case if you have a lot of power Z3 you get the Aerobic/Anaerobic classification.

@isazi Ok thank you! Just modified my pace and power zones to be more in line with what I feel and hopefully there won’t be any other problems for categorizing the runs.
But I still think it would be great to have the ability to modify them afterwards on the app just in case, because other people could have the same problem as I had. I guess I can’t modify the categorization of my last run after having synced the watch with the new zones and the app?
