      Hey,

I have a Suunto Race for about 3 weeks now, I had a Suunto Spartan Sport previously.

I have used the Suunto Race on 3 runs and I have noticed each time that the distance displayed on my Race is incorrect BUT when I sync it to the app and the date is transferred to Strava, it is displayed correctly by Strava.

I run the same distance on all 3 runs, I have used a on this run numerous time and and I know the distance is approximately 10K.

When I have completed the run my Suunto Race indicates that I have only run 6.5K but Strava tells me 10.5K, which is correct.

I have checked the log book on the Race and it still logs the run as 6.5K and not 10K. The log book is correct in the time I took to complete the run.

I have completed a hard rebook of the watch without success.

I did ensure that the GPS was on before starting each run and I have checked that the GPS file has the correct timestamp.

Has anyone have any ideas on how to resolve ?

      Thanks

10.5k IS 6.5 miles. Your watch is set to Imperial. Change it to Metric.

fortunately this is an uncritical case…
there were spaceships blowing up by mistakenly mixing up imperial and metric systems…

@freeheeler I read the post and I was like “Wait a minute”… Then I did the math, then I looked it up, then I posted. 🤓

If I’m not mistaken, there have been some issues with airliners as well. Incorrect fuel calculations and whatnot.

I’m glad we globally agreed on 24h a day and 60mins per hour 🙊
