Suunto Race crashed during long activity

I was on a long hike, and almost at the end, while “unlocking” the buttons, the Race display went dark for about 30sec and then returned to the main screen. The activity was saved independently but with missing data, such as ascent and descent, number of steps, calories consumed (I then entered them manually taking the data from my son’s Suunto). And also the max and min altitude are incorrect, a decimal has been cut off (205m instead of 2050m, 119m instead of 1190m). This problem had already happened to me a few years ago with my previous S9B, without any specific cause being identified by Suunto assistance. But the fact that it also showed up on the Race put me on alert…!

It’s the suunto cancer, once it’s happened, it will happen again
