BUG: Run prediction and lactate threshold missing
-
Run prediction and lactate threshold missing after firmware update. After 4 outdoor runs with native run profile the watch still tells me that i need to do three outdoor runs before the numbers are ready.

Same here, different runs and walks, HR-zone3 or higher, nothing in the numbers. I did a hard reset again, try again, wait,…

@Eddy-De-Backer if you do a hard reset, you will start from 0.
For me it also took more than exactly 3 runs, but after 5 or so the data showed up.
With hard resetting it will take longer

Hello @Eddy-De-Backer
To my knowledge, Suunto does not share the minimum requirements for obtaining predictions.
Bit i think it’s important to remember that the number of runs is not enough.
To make predictions, Suunto needs a certain amount of time and effort.
For example, the SuuntoPlus Threshold test analyses the last 20 minutes of a 30-minute effort, (to which a warm-up and cool-down should be added). -

@Arnaud-Lclr I have done way more that what should be needed. I can’t even understand why my old figures are ironed out after the update. Shouldn’t be necessary.
-
@David-l Not the minimum. The text states at least so I think more ambiguous.
-
@Brad_Olwin I have done 5 runs since the update, but still no run predictions or threshold values. And why do I have to start all over again after the update? It should not be necessary.

For me it took also more that 3 runs - but after like 5 or 6 the numbers showed up.
Noone here including Brad will be able to tell you why the numbers are erased with a firmware update. -
@David-l I think we understand each other

If you record 3 runs of 15 minutes at 7min/km, not only will Suunto probably not be able to give you any information, but I hope they won’t because that would be totally crazy.
The watch screen or, more importantly, the manual should be more comprehensive.

@Marius-Jacobsen-Eggerud You may try the Cooper Test, it would show up right away.
-
Aproxymatly 20 runs and no predictions for me !
-
@GregDi Same for me.
-
@GregDi same here.
-
@Iceman1 Same here
-
My Race is currently downloading 2.30.38. Maybe it’s fixed with this update?

-
-
@GregDi Same here for me, been bugging me for a while, update did not resolve it.
-
Wait 3 runs with the new update

-
@Marius-Jacobsen-Eggerud my 9PP did it within 3 runs after the software update but so far my Suunto Race has not done it after 3 runs…
