Frozen Race
-
I am on my second Titanium Race. With this latest one, I was noticing a few initial GPS locks were quite far off, the initial tracks starting a few houses down, and flying through their living rooms. I suppose it could be a bad initial lock.
Today, I started another activity and it froze on the screen after I selected the activity. Would not react to buttons, had to do a soft reset.
The reboot, removed my pinned widget,The watch seemed to come back to life. Later on tried another activity, but they were all gone.
Reboot again, and then all the old notifications previously start popping up.
Start an activity, and all the custom activities I made are gone, and it only shows three: Hiking, Cycling, and Running.
Reboot, then it gives me the guide as if I’ve never used the watch before:
Is this looking to be a dud? Thoughts?

@colinmacdon No sports modes now.

I would contact support. That’s the only useful thing to do imho

I wonder if someone could try a few things to replicate this. Open up an activity, once it brings up the initial activity screen with all the options, tilt your wrist down to engage the dim AOD. Then tilt it back to full wake mode—does it freeze or do you lose your activities?

@colinmacdon this actually happened to me today. A soft reset eas the only way to fix it. It was the first time I’ve had a bug in the near month I’ve owned the race.

@colinmacdon This has happened to me a few times as well. I was going to send it back but then decided to wait for the update. When that didn’t arrive when the Vertical’s did, that was a bit frustrating, but hopefully it will come soon and fix this issue along with the other small bugs. I have to admit that it’s kind of frustrating that Suunto doesn’t release smaller bug fixes more frequently—there clearly are a lot of bugs with this new software, and fixing a few at a time seems like a better approach to me than waiting months, especially for their new flagship watches.
