Competition prediction

@Rango I think many faced similar issue. I had mine for a month now and the prediction came out only after more than 10 runs… only to disappear again after another run. So frustrating.
-
How long were your running session and dit you wore hr strap or ohr ? Maybe those parameters count to have the estimation ?
-
@Tieutieu The running units last between 45 minutes and 2 hours. I always wear a Garmin HR strap
-
My predictions have just appeared after 19 runs.
-
@David-l Thanks, then I just have to do more running training WE will See
-
@David-l mine appeared after more than 10 runs but disappeared thereafter. I am wondering if there is a bug in this .

@leafs93 they’re still there now, but CTL has gone back to zero. Once I synced it with phone, CTL is back and predictions are still there.
Although, tbh, as with Garmin, the shorter distances are about correct (19:40 5k,) but marathon is out by 25 mins (predicted 3:47, actual 4 weeks ago 3:24). Big pinch of salt with any of these.
Ps, apart from some v small tweaks, I really like this watch!
-
@David-l mine disappeared even after I had a few more runs. Hopefully the update later this month will resolve this. And yes this is the best Suunto watch I ever had so far. If the lag is gone, and they have customisable watch faces, I think this will be my perfect watch

@leafs93 don’t put to much faith the software update came until the end of the month. If they delayed is because there are problems and I prefer wait a bit more and receive a stable software update. Look at the software update on the vertical, full of bugs and complainings.

@David-l My predictions came out today,in the end of my 10 run, interval workout. In general I think the 5k and 10 Kms are in line with my stryd predictions and Garmin,in half marathon and full marathon is a bit off, slower. If their algorithm work like Garmin it will take some weeks until get predictions close to reality, because of the lack of data in terms of endurance. But in shorter distance they are spot on Kudos to Suunto. Normally I don’t rely to much in any predictions, because I know what I’m capable to do but is nice to see when the predictions of the watch match my actual fitness .
