Display flipping for right hand
-
afair there is something about this in one of the last surveys
-
I’m noticing that if i wake up display by gesture, the crown continue to rotate with movements between wrist and t-shirt sleeve, the result is that display continues to stay on and continues to cycle between widget and activity, this is very bad, i can’t wear it on my right hand (at least during winter).
-
-
@renton82 you can set it to wake only to the energy saving screen. Then controls will stay locked until you push a button.
-
@Egika Yes, but i would have preferred to have the option to flip display also because is a bit uncomfortable to use the crown in this position.
-
@renton82 right.
I understand this personal preference. Have used Race on my right wrist for testing and found it quite comfortable to operate the dial with my left thumb like this:
-
@Egika 2km radius??
-
@surfboomerang sharp eyes
-
@Egika Yes, without clothing is not a problem…
-
@surfboomerang no promise from Suunto this will end up in production firmware, as it is not in the “leaked” spec sheet from reviewers.
-
Getting an upvote from me - I put this suggestion in the wrong place, but clearly us left-handed-users would like more useability.
I’ve a Peak currently (waiting on a new Peak Pro to be delivered) and find the buttons fiddly on my right arm at this time of year, when I have to wear long sleeves
