Running Estimate
-
Maybe I missed it, but can anyone confirm how many runs it takes to populate the running estimate under the Progress widget?
-
@colinmacdon it will be 3.

@Brad_Olwin I have 7 runs, still no estimates. Are there any other requirements? Do the runs need to be made in flat terrain? Do we need to stay for a specific time in a specific zone (for example 30mins in zone 3 or something like that). So far I have only done easy longer runs (> 2h, zone 1/2, flat and on the trails).

@wmichi I wonder about this too. 3 runs, 29.9 km, 3hr4 mins. No estimates.

@colinmacdon I am on the new firmware so hard for me to evaluate the one you are on. Monday’s update may reset the run data (it has for me) and then after 3 you will get running estimates. Mine are fairly aggressive, not sure I am capable of what the watch thinks I can do, but since I never race those short distances or race on pavement I’ll never know.

@Brad_Olwin good to know this. I have had more than 6 runs with total distance more than 80km, some intervals and some easy long runs but no estimates so far. Hope to see this new firmware update on Monday
