Will Suunto 7 have an update for Wear OS 3?

It’s a great watch, both smart and sporty, and it would be a shame if it didn’t update to Wear OS 3. Because more watches have already been announced that will have it, like the Galaxy Watch 4, fossil gen 6for example.

@Andrés-F-Valencia considering that Suunto has announced “S7 is no longer in production” I’d say the odds are against Wear OS 3. The HW is a few years old already and Suunto is steering away from generic smart watches towards sports computers.

The Suunto 7 is not going to get Wear OS 3. Technically it might be able to run it but Google has said it won’t support the processor it has. We would need an upgraded watch, but if you look at the following thread there isn’t much hope for a successor

The Ticwatch Pro 5 with the new Snapdragon W5+ chip can supposedly last for 4 days. Maybe this example will bring about a change of heart at Suunto?
