My Suunto 9 is currently restricted to syncing only with SA, which is generally not a problem, but it means that I can’t export the data as a .FIT file.

I’ve seen it mentioned that the backend supports FIT export. Is there any API documentation available (even privately), that would allow me to write a tool to pull FIT files out of the backend? The GPX export from Sports-Tracker leaves a lot to be desired.

Are you using suuntolink + Movescount? If you use that, you can export GPX files

@suzzlo no, because I have routes and custom sports modes on the watch from SA, so it has disconnected me from Movescount. Otherwise I could just use the .FIT export there.

@jburchm1 Did you try from sports-tracker.com website?

I must have missed that, was unintentionally left in release note. Since I failed I may try to clear things: it is part of the 3rd party implementation that we are currently doing. I’ll dig the contact point for those who may want to contact us about this topic. Message me, if it get’s buried under other tasks… 😛

it seems we have a straight email contact for those who are interested about developer API co-operations, not going to put it out here, though. So it will not be publicly available and you should be able to define why and for what you’d use it for
