@jjpaz should be on next beta I think. Or if not already out. Android wise.

Today I did a restart of the watch before my exercise and it worked. Can be a coincidence. My thoughts is that it can be a memory issue.

@gi0vanni Is it possible to downgrade the Peak? I have not find a way to do it.

I have posted all info you need to downgrade in my first reply to your initial post 🙂
all is described in the link.
select your device name, the firmware you would like to downgrade to, download it and drag it into your SuuntoLink with the watch connected
hope the issues with your watch will be solved this way and of course for the future ✊

true, the file isn’t there for S9P, I recalled wrong.
                  sorry @mr-blom

@freeheeler And S9P is upgraded vía OTA, not by Suuntolink…

@jjpaz yes. I was experiencing a bug where the Suunto plus apps didn’t work at all/crushed in activity. Keep in mind if you downgrade that you have to set up the watch after it, as all your customisations are deleted. You can find the firmware following the link above and scrolling down.

I have done a restart of the watch before every exercise. And it worked for a few days. Today it didn’t work. It seems to be more worse. Can I downgrade the watch? I have the peak and can’t connect it through the suunto-link.

Right now I have to use one of my old watches can’t have a watch crashing all the time.

@mr-blom are you using S+? Do you use the latest android beta? That should allow you to downgrade afaik

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Right now I have an IPhone. I think have an 2 years old Samsung lying somewhere, so maybe I can use that.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I have the latest Android Beta and I can’t find any “downgrade” menu.
It only shows “Your software is updated” when you check for new software and can’t choose any version, as usual.

and/or a target (only distance, I’ve never set a duration target)

I use it constantly (w/ or w/o S+ and all possible permutations with other settings, w/ oHR, w/ Suunto smart/Polar verity sense sensors and Polar stride sensor) and so far I’ve never encountered any hiccups or anything like that. One thing to say: I have a habit of doing a soft reset every now and then, and I don’t know if that protects me from hiccups (I will try w/o it from now on).

until now I’ve not been able to trigger any issue… tried all the nasty possible things. my watch seems immune 😲

@gi0vanni Could you tell with model are you using? Mine is Suunto 9 Baro. I wonder if the issue only involves certain models…

i’m looking at downgrading my 9 peak firmware, but the link isnt working.
looking for the previous firmware which im used to it or stable at least for me.

                                            com.sports-tracker.suunto//ota/ota-fw/Nagano-fw_2.19.42.1044-K-99dda952.sof

reason for downgrade. the raise to wake is not working during activity. i tried to turn on raise to wake under settings >backlight. noticed its “off”. after this upgrade, this happened to me. i didnt have this issue before.

by accidentally touching my watch while its sleeping, not during activity, the light should not turn on. but it did.
this latest 2.26.8 is not behaving like previous version 2.23.20 didnt have this issue.

i could raise my watch and get light anytime during my runs/ rides. now i cant see my timing during my run. unless i turn on raise to wake to on. this will consume battery even in the day when its so bright, i dont need to turn light on during the day.
