@Jasmin-Klipic Run 10 km outdoors “fast” a you will get it, I think yours 3.2 km in 34 min is not fast enough.

I would add “to have a proper measurement”
You can probably have some estimation even slow walking, but useless

I got my vo2max estimation after my first run(3km about11mins) with s9pp.
It looks like you got a configuration issue
-
@zhang965 Well, you did the same distance in one third of the time… I guess his HR was too low for all the activity time.

And I use chest belt
-
@zhang965 Mee too (in fact an OHR arm belt, Polar) but in essence is the same.

As mentioned before. Some minimum effort is needed. 3km in 11mins does it. OP effort probably not enough.

@Egika Additionally/alternatively, he might have had a GPS loss. When the watch doesn’t have any older VO2 value to use, if you at any point during the workout lose GPS (start when it’s not found; start when it’s just found and instable so maybe you lose it for a few seconds immediately after; go under a tunnel), the VO2 is not calculated.

I personnally do agree with you
but minimum effort is not mentionned in the user guide -
@zhang965 this is why we have this forum with a lot of user experience in place

And that’s why we should have commit rights on Suunto documentation

but minimum effort is not mentionned in the user guideno, and it is mentioned in documentation “run or walk”…and I walked 5,5km/h, and this not slow at all, and had 105/110 bpm, but this is not enough, or the sh… does not work…
well, how ever the watch goes today back to amazon
-
I’m closing this thread to avoid duplicates as there are plenty of discussions about “vo2 calibration” and since the watch is being returned.
