It’s unbelievable that this is the new supported app for the Spartans and the S9. Still a long way to go before the basics are in place.

@Marius-Jacobsen-Eggerud indeed. And as the new features in beta are blocking Suuntolink, there is actually no way to test these new features, if you still want to see the correct data of your training. I haven’t tested the route planning nor the sport mode customization in SA because of that, and it’s both frustrating and sad.

With vantage Polar will pull out a new app (not beta) in September. Previous features and new ones are there, new UI. Today is crucial to bring a unified product, a unified ecosystem.Actually i don’t see this in Suunto. There is Movescount web, Sports tracker, Movescount app, Suunto app. What a confusion.The only good is web.
Playing with numbers up and down is not the way. Now even zones are not present in this new beta version…

Already mentioned several times in this forum, not exactly sticking to the “this forum is currently only about SA-beta”, but nevertheless - and rather unfortunately - IMO absolutely right and concise description.

@akoshajas Even beta apps are tested before release, or not? Why these persistent errors? How we will get new features if basic issues are not solved?..

At some point this was ok.
Then it broke at the latest releases.
@Luís-Pinto weren’t you among the people who wanted fast updates on beta ? We can pull back to latest release for example. Let’s not start this way.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Me? are you joking? I prefer reviewed betas. We notes very quickly when errors are here. Developers don’t? You don’t answer my questions.

@Luís-Pinto yes we do, but for example I don’t have this issue. Beta versions are tested at least 2 weeks.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos what is worst that for some it is broken, for some it is not, I get correct HR values for my workouts… it is nightmare to troubleshoot random issue…

@SlaSh exactly. However its bad. Nothing else. Its not almost a year I personally have the app on my phone (android ) and still the freaking data.
My vacation end in one week…

BTW in ragards to this and triggered by @Luís-Pinto I asked on Facebook and on all test groups, as well developers if they had any hr differences and there was noone that had more than 1bpm difference that can happen due to rounding errors. I am forwarding now your issue.

Hi guys! I hope not to mess up by posting this here but didn’t manage to find how exactly can I download the beta version for the Suunto App in order to test it. Does anyone have some info about the testflight app invitation codes or about this process and how i can help as a tester with the beta release cycle of the app?

Hi @iuliant, You have to make a request on this page for iOS or for Android. Then, you will receive an email from Testflight. (it took about a week for me)
