Incorrect sleep SpO2 elevation on watch
-
On more than one occasion I’ve noted incorrect altitude on the watch when viewing overnight SpO2.
Some context:
- My current elevation is ~380 m but watch shows ~126 m
- Interestingly 126 m is elevation of my parents home where I slept for a night 1 week ago.
- I’ve regularly worn the watch while sleeping at my place since then.
- SpO2 shown on watch (pictured) is overnight reading. I haven’t measured it manually.
- SA shows correct elevation reading (although 100% 99%). SA shows correct elevation on previous days as well.
- I haven’t paid attention to it on the watch last few days so I can’t say if this persisted all week. I did notice this earlier but disregarded it so don’t have more info

@Umer-Javed Has the watch had a GPS fix since you left your parents? It really should not matter but just wondering.
-
@Umer-Javed it is known, I have reported it some time ago, but thanks for being active in the forum!

@isazi thank you!
@Brad_Olwin I didn’t record any GPS exercises through the week, correct. When I navigate to my sleep widget on the watch, the SpO2 reading is correct. Just incorrect on the main widget.
Looks like it’s been taken care of. Thanks

@Umer-Javed this seems to be fixed for me in beta firmware, I’ll keep checking if it is fixed or not.

@isazi thank you!
