Suggestions for Improvement

After I hat to reset and set up my 3 month old S9P, because it regularly crashed while saving exercises (what made me furious), I have some suggestions:-
Backup Settings in the App
Setting up the watch is no fun. Doing it again after a reset is even less fun.
Even better would be the ability to set the watch up with the app. -
Clear Logbook Option
I do a lot of workouts. The watch got slower and slower over time. Saving took a lot of time. Now it is fast again. Give us an option to clear all workouts as the watch seems to have problems coping with overwriting workouts. Lost workouts are no fun at all!
Even better would be the ability to auto-delete the workout after syncing them to the app, as I will never look at the workouts on the watch. -
Option to Permanently Turn Off Touch Screen
My screen is turned off during workouts. I don’t need to look at my watch during workouts. When I run in Winter, I need to wear a jacket or two. I sweat. When I get a notification, the touch screen turns on and until now on two occasions I answered to messages unintentionally. Also when I finished the workout, I need to get up the stairs and get rid of my running clothes. Meanwhile the sweaty jacket will mess around with the watch. The workaround is to shove the jacket up my arm and run around like an idiot until the watch locked itself. That also is no fun.
Addition to this suggestion: it would be great to have the option to set the watch to Do Not Disturb mode while working out. I will not answer a call or read a message while working out in general, but such a feature would probably be most useful on a workout type base, chosen by the user (i.e. Running --> DND; Hiking --> no DND…). -
Holding the Lower Button Should Always Lock the Screen and the Buttons
Why does this work only when working out? When I’m riding with my Motorbike, wearing a jacket and gloves or now in Winter when wearing jackets, I have two options after using the watch for something: 1. wait until the watch locked itself and only fear the accidental button press from the jacket/gloves or 2. don*t wait and fear, what the jacket/gloves do with the active touch screen and buttons. Most of the time, fear is not funny. -
Put the Notification Marker on the Watch-Face
Why is the notification marker not there anyway? I have to click two times (or at least one time, when media control is disabled) to see, if I have notifications. No fun at all.
Not to give a false impression:
I had some problems with the watch (lost workouts, erratic behaviour, sometimes slow, having to use car-paint to hide a scratch on the outer ring - should have bought the titanium version), but I still love it when it works. The battery is superb, the GPS is awesome, I do like the app and I like the integration to Sports-Tracker, where I have more then 10 years data of workouts. Still, there are some obvious flaws (as mentioned above) and I hope, the Suunto Team will get rid of them. -

@HurricaneWeasel I have suffered several watch crashes while saving the activities, last summer. After a hard reset I haven’t suffered the issue.
My watch behaviour was similar: the watch get slower and after that, crashed saving activities.I hope this problem will be solved in the future update.

I think cleaning log be good. So far I don’t use watch to check logs older than day or so. And I have everything on my phone if I want to check.
Is there any reason for logs to be on watch memory all the time? -
