HR/SpO2 odd sensors behaviour?

@gi0vanni I reported the issue and will wait for an answer from Suunto. I believe this is how it works, but maybe it is a bug and the lights should turn off immediately after switching to another widget. Will let you know.
I would suggest you to not factory reset the watch in the meanwhile.

thanks a bunch!

It always worked like this.
There should be an old thread for Spartan I guess -
@sartoric I also think this is how it works, but maybe it is not how it should work. I should have an answer tomorrow.

I am pretty sure this is how it works on purpose as well.
Getting a heart rate reading takes some time. So while you are in the menu, the watch is kind of prepared to show the current heart rate and keeps measuring. Seems like a deliberate design decision to avoid multiple waiting times while passing the HR widget. -
@Egika I see, but even if you wait for sensors do their job they still remain active if you move on the next widget
-
@gi0vanni yes. maybe not fully clear.
If it stopped working while you are in the other widgets, it would always need waiting time when passing the HR widget. -
Apparently this is not a bug, it is implemented this way and will stay this way. I also find it weird and a waste of power, and believe most users are not going up and down to check their HR all the time, but anyway.
IMPORTANT do not reset your watch as told by support, this is the normal behavior of your watch.

@isazi No what a pity! I hope the ability to turn the widgets on/off comes sooner or later…
Thanks anyway!
