[Issue] FW rolled back to 2.18.18 and won't find the new FW anymore
-
@wmichi Exact same behavior for me.
-
@wmichi @Patrick-Löffler I can help you both in PM.
-
@wmichi I have same problem. I could also need some help.
-
@isazi hey I have the same situation. Fw notification in SA but watch does not see it.
-
-
BTW if the app says that the update is loaded, could also be that it will be installed automatically tonight around 4.
-
@Joaquin Could we get any information, what was the problem with S9P tonight? (rollback, phone disconnection) Doesn’t have anything to do with faulty watch, etc. and will be corrected with new SW Update? Thanks.
-
It is solved.
No worries. It was about how handled the deliver of the update. More or less is all I can say.
Watches are fine.

I got the same problem during night.

I got the same problem during night, is there any solution? S9P users with IOS.
-
@ryanyen almost for sure tomorrow morning you will find that the watch installed the new update on its own.
-
For everyone with the issue, check that the app says that the firmware is sent to the watch, charge the watch to 100% before going to bed, and tomorrow morning your watch will be updated.
-
@isazi Many thanks.

Yeah, sounds like magic hahaha

@isazi urrrr… It’s noon now and nothing happened…
-
@hankwang same here.
-
same her in Germany. SA (in IOS) show its availability, watch shows it‘s up to date and still on 2.18.18.
-
Exactly the same here, updated successfully to 2.19.42. on iOS, two days ago, the same night watch rolled back to 2.18.18 and completely lost connection to Suunto App.
Reconnection worked, but App keeps saying 2.19.42 has been downloaded and transferred to watch, watch keeps saying software is up to date, but is still on 2.18.18Factory reset watch, Suunto App reinstall, Suunto App new install on another device, complete disconnect and reconnect all did not work
there is definitely a discrepancy between what the user interface of S9peak tells us (Software is uptodate) and what S9P tells the App (Software update available).
How is this going to be solved?

@isazi Hi, this didnt happen for me. no update during the night and followed all instructions you mentioned
