GPS lost after tunnel
-
@isazi said in GPS lost after tunnel:
@Cooky yes the watch relies on other sensors to fill in pace, distance, etc. A fix for this is coming, maybe sooner than expected.
Any update on the fix release ?
This bug is quite annoying.
Even if I have correct data coming from Stryd, my gps data of my last run is reduced of more than half of the true track…GPS lost after a first tunnel and got back the signal after a second tunnel at the end of the run (about 20-30 minutes later).

@v-sacre I believe it should be this month, but it is not up to me to decide, I am just a user like you.

I am suffering from the same problem which is reproducible. However, last time I had the breadcrumb navigation active and the GPS signal was not lost.
In the short tunnel, the symbol in the center of the navigation screen indicated a loss of the GPS signal, after the tunnel the signal was right back. The track in Suunto app was correct. -
[@taziden Same issue losing GPS on my S9PP going through a tunnel on both my last runs. First time it fixed itself, second time I switch to Breadcrumb and back to Route.

-
Firmware update is out that should fix the tunnel re-acquisition issue!

@gambacorta Was the Suunto 9 Peak Pro at the latest version (2.22.60)?
-
@Spree yes
-
@gambacorta I guess it might be interesting for Suunto to get logs, maybe @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos could help transfer them?
-
@Spree if it can still be done, I would do it more than willingly
-
@Egika Is it fixed now?
Thanks! -
@Ultrawalker it was fixed with the latest update, 2.22.60
