3rd day in a row…
Maybe only hard reset helps… -
@mountainChris
…and setting up your entire watch again?
I would just wait a bit longer before starting the activity, after satellites have been locked.
agps is not 100% necessary. and maybe tomorrow or the day after it works again -
@mountainChris maybe you can wait for an update? I heard somewhere that it might still come in September.
-
@DMytro
this is independent from firmware as I understand. sometimes agps isn’t working properly, but it shouldn’t be dramatic as it “only” helps to lock satellites faster -
@mountainChris have you tried to update AGPS with both Suuntolink and the App?
-
Having the same problem last few days. Soft reset performed yesterday and synced with suunto app, but the problem persists.
-
@isazi yes! Will what a week or so. GPS lock ist still fast
-
Let’s wait a couple of days, anyway Suunto has been made aware of this.

On my side everything still seems ok, just synced my activity and updated GPS data.

I’ve the same issue. No AGPS, today’s GPS lock was very slow, like 10 minutes or so and until km 9 GPS track is very “shity” too, with lots of straight lines (On the other hand it helped me to get a nice KOM in a very steep uphill ).
I hope it’s solved quickly, I’ll try later a soft reset and then with Suuntolink.

This topic is still in the Suunto 5 section, but it seems (for what I know) that the problem is currently on the S9 and S9B. Please all post in the correct section, otherwise reporting it’s difficult.
