For me, My S9 is a great piece of HW but
I miss him waypoints/POI. I know it’s on the way…
and more adjustable intervals. The actual intervals timer is good with its screens but a little more configured will be great.

Hehe, I have few friends with Garmin and they use probably 10% features of their watches (activity measuring, time, notifications from mobile). I have S9 and I’m probably using 80 - 90% features of my S9.
So, this is very strange ratio price / powerSo you are using 80-90% of the features on the S9 … activity measuring, time, notifications from mobile.

5plus es casi el doble de mordisco. Manzanas y naranjas, lo sé. Acabo de comparar el G5 y el S
Good buy.
Enjoy! -
@fejker
Seriously, I´m using Suunto 9 24/7. I take them off only to charge. I´m measuring everything what they can. I´am also using sunset info, thunderstorm alarm, height, compass, navigation, 24/7 HR, steps, calories, sleep, first beat features… allmost everything
I do not understand why someone buys an expensive Garmin with tons of features and only uses activity tracking, notifications and time… -
@Václav-Král
because an expensive multisport watch makes almost everyone look like an athlete -

@solid_dd what? I thought after a certain price point training is not necessary anymore, you just sit and see the stats improve

@fejker this was very funny kudos! (really)

Re: [Goodbye Suunto](hello Garmin)
Hi there,
for many years i was fan of Suunto and recommend it many times. I’m also owner of M5, Ambit 1, Spartan Ultra. I bought M3 for my girlfriend, Ambit2 for my brother.
Even when i was very unhappy about shutting down of Movescount, i still believed in better future. The last time (4 months ago) i recommended Suunto 9 to my sparing partner. Now it’s all over.
Suunto App is useless, Movescount is shutted down, all older watches (i was still using Ambit for some activities) doesn’t work with supermega Suunto App (correct me if wrong).
Yesterday i ordered Garmin Fenix 6X. Even i was never fan of Garmin, if i compare functions inside watches (solar charging, nfc, music) and website (for data analysis, planning) i have to say, Garmin is far in front of Suunto now.
Now i regret that i bought Spartan Ultra last year instead of Garmin Fenix5… I wanted to stay with the same platform, it shows as a mistake.
Is there a way, how i can export all my activites from Suunto for usage in any other 3d party solution for data analysis? Can you suggest something?
Thank you very much in advance and, sadly, goodbay.Hi, even if I reply to an old topic, it is today the 8th of May and Suunto App is still a sh*t. I am an early bird of the Suunto Spartan Ultra watch (paid dear and naughty) but I have always been very happy of its accuracy and hardware features.
I used movescount during years despite few bugs and un-enhanced features.Now, seeing suunto put all the efforts to the hardware and nothing (really nothing valid) in software made me taking now the decision to turn to the Garmin side as well.

This is completely understandable. You are not the only one

Have you tried Qs?
I find Suunto app more convenient most of the times. Sure and web interface could be useful and here had been debated a lot.
