Duplicate moves after Movescount import
-
Dio you have links for me ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Unfortunately I spent sometime yesterday removing all the duplicates… so none left… there probably was between 20 and 30 in my case. If useful I can direct you to SA/ST ones and MC equivalent, though everything being private you might no be able to see anything ? -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
No extra software. Just synced activities to both MC and SA for some time.
Example:

@Egika Out of curiosity I had a look and noticed that some of the data is different too. Duration, Ascent, Descent and Max.Speed differ, don’t they?
-
There should be a way to select up to what date you want to import the moves from MC. This way, if you have continuously imported moves into SA from that certain date, no duplicates would happen.
-
@borgelkranz Yes, this is strange enough. As the only thing I have done is sync the same move first to MC and then to SA.
No idea why it would come up with different data… -
@Egika Some old version? Beta? You ve been here quite since start…
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos yes. Possibly…
I have already started deleting some duplicates on top of the list. So can’t look them up anymore and only older ones are left… -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I again received an email stating that history import from movescount is complete. However, the number of activities still does not match. For example all of the 180 moves from 2017 aren’t there. I really begin to lose faith… I contacted support and they want to come back to me via e-mail…
-
@borgelkranz can you logout and login to the app? or chec ST web ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Logged out and back in. Same state. Also in ST-Web, the activities are missing. For 2017, seven activities are present. But in Movescount there are 180.

Hello, My connection to Movescount has been enabled, so I confirmed transition. I had 1724 moves in general (including year 2019) to move and I received confirmation email “Confirmation: Your Movescount history import is completed” in a few minutes later.
Seems there are some small inconsistencies:
Movescount.com data:
2011 126, 2012 178, 2013 178, 2014 206, 2015 207, 2016 209, 2017 181, 2018 276, 2019 163
SuuntoApp data:
2011 126, 2012 184, 2013 178, 2014 221, 2015 207, 2016 209, 2017 182, 2018 278, 2019 171
Sports-tracker.com data: (the same as SuuntoApp)
2011 126, 2012 184, 2013 178, 2014 221, 2015 207, 2016 209, 2017 182, 2018 278, 2019 171What I have never understood is why I had so many moves in sports-tracker.com (even before I installed my SuuntoApp) since I have never enabled any synchronization beetween movescount and sports-tracker.com. I assume moves have been migrated once I logged into SuuntoApp with the same credentials I have with SuuntoApp and Sports-tracker.com.
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I have maybe (or better to say most probably) overlooked the solution for this situation in this forum since there are a lot mixed topics, but should I delete duplicates in SuuntoApp or sports-tracker.com? Or in both services? Will the deletion of move in SuuntoApp remove activity in Sports-tracker.com as well?
Thanks!

I also have multiple duplicates. I also noticed that moves from several years ago (2015) are missing some data such as ascent and descent.
-
@borgelkranz as far as I know this is known and moves are currently reprocessed. You will most probably get another email
-
It seems like the activities I deleted in ST are still accounted for in SA stats, is there a way to force SA to recalculate the stats / reload the activity list ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos thx for the info!

I checked in SA, and the deleted activities do not appear, but are still counted in the stats, which gives me around 20 activities more than it should, and more annoyingly, about 1000 km more than I really did…

OK, so it appears I was wrong, the deleted activities appear in the list in SA (I have to filter by month to be able to find them), they all give a message saying «unable to load activity data», and sometimes clicking on one will have the app go back to the list and reload it without that deleted activity. Sadly it’s not always the case… and it requires finding each deleted activity (happily I’ve only got about 20)
Any way to force the app to reload the current list without deleted activities ? -
@martin
Either delete app cache, or desinstall and reinstall.
It will reload from cloud all you real activities.
