Android 6.13.6 causes critical pairing loop with Ambit3 Peak – rollback required + SuuntoLink unavailable on Linux

I’ve just hit this bug - any idea when a fix version will be released?

Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum. I joined to add the Suunto Traverse to the list of watches experiencing connectivity issues following the app update to version 6.13.6.

I’m going to try downgrading to the previous version now; everything worked perfectly until the update.

I performed a downgrade and can confirm it’s working again now.

I’ve obviously unchecked the automatic updates setting, pending a fix from Suunto.
I had also previously emailed support; I’ll let you know if I hear anything.

As far as I know a fix is under testing.

6.13.7 is released in beta channel, but no idea if it fixes this issue.

@Squirrel yes, I’ve just updated the app and I was able to sync the activities (Ambit 3 Peak). Thank you to those that reported the issue and to Suunto for the quick fix!

Update – 6.13.7 resolves the Ambit3 Peak pairing loop
Good news: Suunto has released 6.13.7 on the main (stable) channel.
I updated from the working 6.7.12 sideload to 6.13.7 and the Ambit3 Peak now pairs and syncs normally again — no more pairing loop.
