VO2max don't change

@BrunoH I couldn’t stop my self laughing
Good one!

@BrunoH The truth is that out of the 3 watches I have, I only get Vo2 on the Race. But this and the Ocean I use the most and the Ocean (if same as previous FW) needs me to run without the HR Belt to give me reading and I do not run without Belt. The Vertical I have ran 3,4 times and as much hikes without any Vo2 so far.

@isazi slightly higher, yes. But training was slightly harder as well. I just have a feeling that algorithms have changed compared for instance to last year. I run quicker this season and focusing more on high intensity running but getting lower values. I don’t know

Hello,
New pro peak, latest software installed, several runs no vo2 max, no fitness level.
Support says to send it back for a check, but it looks like the software has a problem. Have any improvements been made recently? -
I have the same problem. VO2 max estimate stopped after the last update in my Suunto 9 peak pro. The app shows clearly the date it stopped and its been several moths since the watch sais its needed to record at least an outdoor run to estimate. I’ve run hundreds…
I dont know if Suunto is working on this, as I see its a common problem for many users. -
It is still working here but I had a back injury and didn’t go running or biking from Nov - Mar. but Vo2max stayed at 44,8 so I guess as there was no new measurement it just stayed there. Now it gets new data from running and it changes.

Today, after a long run, 20 km mostly at Z2, my Suunto has estimated the VO+ for first time in months.
-
@magbueno With the same problem I contacted Suunto support and get answer:
the steps on how to get the accurate Vo2Max level below:-
Pair the watch again with the Suunto app
-
Please try a new activity for 15-20 min exercise or more if possible, walking or running will be fine.
3)Set the watch to perfect GPS and perfect HR tracking. No gaps allowed.
-
minimum 8 minutes of zone 3 or 2 HR.
-
Most of the time the VO2max is shown in the first activity from the above steps mentioned but I will suggest you to try 2 to 3 exercises, if the VO2max is not shown in the first activity.
I follow the instructions and after light run in HR zones 2 and 3 VO2max changed. After that all activities (MTB, trailrunning, hiking, nordic walking,…) do not influence in VO2max changing. It stays on the same level.
It looks that it is not bug, it is a feature. -

@Mouse-Cruiser said in VO2max don't change:
minimum 8 minutes of zone 3 or 2
two weeks ago I got my first estimation by walking for about 25 with the HR belt, I was in the HR zone 1 for 100% of the time.
After, I got 2 other estimations (1 run, 1 walk) always while wearing the HR belt.
Yesterday I did an easy walk without the HR walk and, with my surprise, I got another estimation. So, it seems like the first walk with the HR belt unlocked the VO2max estimation, after more than one year of Race use, but that happened also after having updated to the last FW. Just a coincidence?
