Import FIT activity
-
@pilleus try to use the app SyncMyTracks(it works for me in Android, don’t know if there’s iphone version) instead of using the .fit file. It can sync from Strava to SuuntoApp. I tried and it works
Then the flow is FulGaz ->(direct)-> Strava -> (syncmytracks)-> SuuntoApp.
I use SyncMyTracks for syncing all sports platforms.
BTW I’m also a FulGaz subscriber, I like this app for my spin bike.

@Jstation
and do you get ascent/descent values in SuuntoApp for such syncmytracked activities ? -
-
@Johann try RunGap. Works perfectly for me transferring files from Apple and Garmin to Suunto.

Apologies for bumping this topic. I’m not an iOS user so cannot use rungap. Is there any way I can get the fit files from my TrainingPeaks Virtual activities in to the Suunto ecosystem? I have tried SyncMyTracks but it only syncs basic data, not TSS, so you end up with TSS(met) which is miles out.
I have requested TPV set up a direct integration, but no idea when that might happen.
-
@James-Eastwood TSS is computed by the Suunto App, it is not synced. Does TPV syncs HR and power?
-
@isazi I get TSS from my hammerhead integration, so I assumed it was passed across. I guess it is just calculated from the power, so if it knows my FTP (which is set as z4/5 threshold)and Normalized Power, I guess it’s the same thing. Either way, it works.
TPV doesn’t integrate to Suunto as all, but the files are ‘proper’ and contain all the relevant data… there’s just no good way to get them in to Suunto that I can find.
-
@James-Eastwood ask them if they are interested in exporting to Suunto, so far I believe only Rouvy does natively.
-
@isazi am on it
-
@James-Eastwood I normally import fit files from zwift to Suunto app using Runalyse or Quantified Self, but since last update of Suunto app, it doesn’t work anymore…
