@sky-runner That’s interesting. If true, it makes me wonder if this is a correct strategy for swimmers considering that the device may be under water when it decides to check for GPS changes. Would this result in an erroneous reading or would it simply wait for the next time it decides to measure GPS positioning potentially prolonging the time without a reading until it coincides with an above-water stroke + GPS capture. Is this speculation? It seemed to me that the cadence has consistently been 3-4 seconds so in my experience it doesn’t seem to be tied to +3m deltas.

@Manuel-Extreme Issue solved: I was leaving the address blank, but it seems to be mandatory (maybe the * is missing).

@Karnal1 yes, that’s the way we generate FIT files, auxilary data added when it exist/change, not constantly. Maybe some interpolation would be better for practical use, but it’s beyond the scope of changes I can afford.

When Garmin acquired Firstbeat in 2020, it did not immediately terminate existing contracts. It allowed them to run their course, but gradually stopped development for competitors and licensing new metrics to third parties. We can expect a very similar scenario. We’ll see, really curious to see how this develops.

@Jaakers said: yes, but that’s the question in this tread: when will it be native supported by suunto. generally, there is no “roadmap” for people to see on what Suunto is working on. Your requested feature might show up in the next update, or it may never show up at all, or anywhere in between.

@iikeli said: @Bogdan1921 through Strava currently. But I would love to see proper partnership. As in, automatically syncing activities to Oura, and from Oura. I don’t really manually track dog walks, but it’s nice that Oura automatically notices them and I can track them that way. But even bigger pro would be to get Ouras sleep data to Suunto app. Don’t really like to sleep with the watch on as the ring is so much more comfortable and gives better data. (At least for someone with wrist tattoos). Hell, just create a proper integration to Apple Health and also pull data from there instead just pushing to it. Oura integrates directly w Training Peaks and Runalyze and both do a better job of presenting long term trends for sleep, hrv, and HR data than the actual Oura app. After the Runalyze revamp, I think it’s the best out there. Only missing planned workouts.

Perhaps someone can also tell me the “read” and “write” settings for Apple Health. I’ve installed a fitness tracker app that can read workout data from the Apple Watch and save it. This data is then automatically displayed in the Suunto app. That’s really all I want.

@kentm said: about 7 hours ago @Matt-Freeman Same issue here — accepted to the Partner Program, invite link led to password setup, then “Unauthorized Request”. Emailed partners@suunto.com twice in late April 2026 still with no response. I just sent a new request today. Could an admin please delete the pending invitation and re-trigger a fresh one? Happy to activate within 48h once received. @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos — any update on whether re-sending invites for stuck accounts is working now? Thanks, Kent asking

@aiv4r said in Suunto/Wahoo: @jjpaz is it true? I do not train for cycling, so I have no clue, but I see in Coros, that there is “Cycling Power Zones”. And of running it shows “Running power”, so my assumption was that it is two different scales. As far as I know, in Evolav you can only configure 1 HR zone ranges, 1 pace zone ranges and 1 power zone ranges… It doesn’t differentiate sports. Maybe this feature has changed and I’m wrong, I don’t know
