@soojong-moon Looks like they took you for real… I got un update from 2.18.18 to 2.18.20 that look exactly the same. May be I was behind ?
-
@fluca You were behind. From 2.18.18 to 2.18.20 they fixed some issues with the watchfaces only for the S9 and S9B I think. 2.18.20 was released one or two days after 2.18.18

Guys, not sure it’s here, so I’m writing it down. I suggest that we add an S+ screen directly to the sports mode, e.g. for hiking, I add a permanent weather feature. If not possible, I suggest an alternative that we can activate or deactivate the S+ during the exercise from the options menu (pressing and holding the middle button during the activity).
My issue is that I often forget to launch the S+, and then it’s too late. I don’t want to quit the training just because of that.
-
@markytarky I hope this can be implemented as well. Especially for hiking, since one already has to fiddle with choosing the route, picking right battery mode etc. The less button pushes before the activity, the better.
-
Also it make sense, because you could want to activate a S+ feature only for a period of time and not hole workout

@markytarky Yep I’d like to see that as well via a long middle button press during a workout

less button pushes: that’s why toggle per sport mode to activate touch even the buttons are locked would make sense to me

It would be nice if maybe after you have chosen the same settings 4 or 5 times it could remember them. Whenever I start a workout I always have to scroll down to disable the HR as I never use it. Occasionally if it’s raining or dark, poor visibility etc I’ve accidentally disabled the GPS by mistake and have had to start over. Doesn’t help having the HR and GPS right next to each other!

@markytarky not to mention that you have to scroll almost all the way down for “Weather”

I sometimes struggle to find older feature requests or improvements for the S9.
it’s most likely either in this thread or in S9 baro wishlist…
would it hurt to restructure the requests to list it below the specific watch model with keywords instead of a wishlist pool? we could discuss each feature separately and once it’s implemented mark it as such but leave it open for further questions, discussion and improvements? -
@freeheeler unfortunately we still do not have a proper way to process requests here. We have a section for SA requests, but not for watches.
-
@isazi
but that’s on the invisible side of this forum, right? how about the front end?
maybe I imagine it too simple… I think of a structure for each watch: FAQ, updates, issues, feature requests etc and within these topics subtopics.
this forum evolved from a discussion “chat-like” page into some kind of database-ish platform where a lot of knowledge is stored and a nice amount of great features are requested -
-
@isazi
why didn’t I recognize this back then?
I wonder what @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos thinks about that? -
Gents, I’m sure sometimes in the past it was mentioned, but I still like to re-open it here. The topic is turn-by-turn plus WP navigation. I just read through how the “up ahead” function on Garmin is working. I was curious if they could show the information about the next WP (distance) and still maintain the turn-by-turn. And it seems like they have it. Any chance this can be part of the Suunto watches? If it’s not already on the list, we need to push it there. Thanks.

@markytarky
another reason for a new structure in this forum -
@markytarky Suunto turn-by-turn navigation is just waypoints (with a icon and a name). Garmin uses the map on the watch to do routing on the watch. So, I do not think this will be possible with current Suunto watches.
